New York City Schools To Begin Using WaterBoarding On Students

Some argue that water boarding is:
1) not torture
2) not a crime
3) effective.

If that’s the case why don’t we use it in the schools? If a kid comes to school late - water board the student. Why not use it on the job for adults as well? Think of the applications. Every police station could have a water boarding room. Crime would disappear. Every job could have their little water boarding specialist. Workers wouldn’t be late or take days off needlessly any more. Well, why the heck not?

Obviously, when it comes to using water boarding on you and me, water boarding becomes unimaginable. If your boss tried to water board you because you came to work late you could sue the pants off of him besides sending him to jail. At least I hope. Those who are for water boarding are the biggest hypocrites. They insist that it’s not torture or illegal but would object to our own police, corporations or schools using it. For someone else it’s not a crime but on me it is. Shame on you.

"In 1947, a Japanese soldier who used water boarding against a U.S. citizen during World War II was sentenced to 15 years in U.S. prison for committing a war crime."

Who says its not a crime?

If it’s done to American citizens, of course, it’s a crime. When we do it to others, it’s ”harsh interrogation”. Don’t you know anything?

"I think it's time to differentiate between torture and aggressive interrogation techniques. Waterboarding is the latter. And if it were done to me I'm sure I'd really, really hate it. But it sure as hell would be better than real torture, as in the torture practiced by our enemies."

Obviously, its better than other brutal interrogation techniques.

And if you say there should be no torture, believe me, criminals will not turn into saints. They got to be interrogated to get the information.

@ Adam

Look at your picture, son, you dress like a NYC thug, obviously you glamorize the thug life, and you have the values of a thug. The question is, why the United States is being run by people who share the same values as thugs?

My theory is the socialists and the communists surreptitiously won. We are now being run by the working class and have the moral values of working class brutality. Be careful for what you wish for, it may very well happen.

Funny, if you knew anything about history, the fastest way to turn a fool into a saint is to torture them.

In this regard you are correct. If we did not torture these idiots we wouldn’t be turning them into saints and martyrs.

Do you really believe that if Iraq invaded the UK and freely tortured your people for ”information” that they would eventually beat the English? I don’t think so. Maybe that’s why you think we were able to kick you out of America, you didn’t torture us enough.

Just to clarify, waterboarding is a form of torture in which they strap you to a table with your legs slightly higher than your head, they place a towel on your head and pour water on you. It makes you feel as if your drowning. Try it out with a friend, its not fun.

Don’t try this on your friends.

It’s a lot easier to just hold small children under water at the pool or in a bathtub. If you time it correctly, you can make them cry without killing them or causing brain damage or any other physical damage.

You can also put it on your resume and get a great job with lots of overseas travel and adventure!

”The president instructed us that nothing we would do would be outside our legal obligations,’’ Rice replied.”We were told, nothing that violates our obligation under the Convention against Torture.”

She continued, ”By definition, if it was authorized by the president, it did not violate our obligations under the Convention against Torture.

If I hear myself saying that on TV, I think I’d ask someone to waterboard me!
It is a shame that this woman took any position in the politics of the so-called strongest country in the world... it’s a shame...

Funny how things that were once considered illegal are done routinely. Without morality, life is a slippery slope.

I hear people saying that the USA is about to fall like the Roman Empire. But I think the reasoning is erroneous. It’s more like we’re going from the Roman Republic to the Roman Empire. In other words, the US is going from an American Republic to an American Empire. But I am in no way for imperialism. It’s just the way I see it coming.

The communists always wanted America to be a working class state. The irony is the ignorant working class are now in command and they have the morality of the Mafia.

Water boarding has to banned immediately. There should be no second thought or argument about it.

”Should” is the operative word. The fact that there is debate over this subject shows our morale bankruptcy as a nation.

Notice how people who are ’for’ waterboarding can’t bring themselves to admit that if it was done to them in the US it would be clearly illegal.

water boarding is not good idea,
If we are forced to do something, things will be worse.
