Some argue that water boarding is:
1) not torture
2) not a crime
3) effective.
If that’s the case why don’t we use it in the schools? If a kid comes to school late - water board the student. Why not use it on the job for adults as well? Think of the applications. Every police station could have a water boarding room. Crime would disappear. Every job could have their little water boarding specialist. Workers wouldn’t be late or take days off needlessly any more. Well, why the heck not?
Obviously, when it comes to using water boarding on you and me, water boarding becomes unimaginable. If your boss tried to water board you because you came to work late you could sue the pants off of him besides sending him to jail. At least I hope. Those who are for water boarding are the biggest hypocrites. They insist that it’s not torture or illegal but would object to our own police, corporations or schools using it. For someone else it’s not a crime but on me it is. Shame on you.

My theory is the socialists and the communists surreptitiously won. We are now being run by the working class and have the moral values of working class brutality. Be careful for what you wish for, it may very well happen.

Just to clarify, waterboarding is a form of torture in which they strap you to a table with your legs slightly higher than your head, they place a towel on your head and pour water on you. It makes you feel as if your drowning. Try it out with a friend, its not fun.

Don’t try this on your friends.
It’s a lot easier to just hold small children under water at the pool or in a bathtub. If you time it correctly, you can make them cry without killing them or causing brain damage or any other physical damage.
You can also put it on your resume and get a great job with lots of overseas travel and adventure!

I hear people saying that the USA is about to fall like the Roman Empire. But I think the reasoning is erroneous. It’s more like we’re going from the Roman Republic to the Roman Empire. ”Should” is the operative word. The fact that there is debate over this subject shows our morale bankruptcy as a nation.
